Fair Usage Policy
1. Introduction
At N & S TELECOM LLC, we are committed to providing a transparent and high-quality retail experience for our customers. This Fair Usage Policy (FUP) outlines how network resources are managed by our carrier partners to ensure a consistent experience for all users.
2. Network Management & Congestion
To provide the best possible service, our carrier partners (including Verizon Prepaid) may prioritize data traffic. During periods of high network congestion, users on certain plans may experience temporary reductions in data speeds. This is standard industry practice to ensure network stability for all customers.
3. Data Throttling & Speed Limits
Once a customer reaches their plan’s specific high-speed data allowance (e.g., 50GB or 100GB), speeds will be reduced for the remainder of the 30-day billing cycle. Typical throttled speeds are 2G (128 kbps). Normal high speeds will resume at the start of the next billing cycle or upon a successful airtime refill.
4. Video Streaming Quality
To optimize network capacity, video streaming is typically delivered at Standard Definition (480p) quality on most prepaid plans. Higher resolution streaming may impact data usage and speed performance.
5. Prohibited Network Uses
To maintain network integrity, the following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Using the service for automated or continuous data transfers (e.g., server hosting).
- Unauthorized tethering or hotspot usage beyond plan limits.
- Any activity that interferes with other users’ ability to access the network.
6. Device Compatibility
NS Telecom facilitates ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) activations. While we assist with the activation process, we do not guarantee that every device will be compatible with all carrier network features (such as 5G or VoLTE).
7. Independent Dealer Disclosure
N & S TELECOM LLC is an independent authorized retail sub-dealer. All network performance, coverage areas, and technical service decisions are made exclusively by the carrier. We facilitate the sale and activation of the plan; we do not own or operate the wireless network.
